Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 May 2026
These terms govern your use of mymoto.world("we", "us", "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
mymoto.world is a social network for motorcyclists. It includes a wall feed, groups, events, business pages, a marketplace, direct messaging, location features, and (where you opt in) integrations with third-party services such as YouTube. We may add, remove or change features at any time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
- You sign in via a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure.
- You may only hold one account at a time unless we expressly agree otherwise. Bot, sockpuppet and impersonation accounts are prohibited.
- You are responsible for everything done from your account. Notify us immediately at support@mymoto.world if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use mymoto.world to:
- post anything illegal, including content that infringes someone else's rights, defames them, threatens or harasses them, or invades their privacy;
- post sexual content, pornography, gore, animal cruelty, or content that sexualises or endangers minors (zero-tolerance);
- post hate speech, slurs, content that promotes violence, or content that targets people on the basis of a protected characteristic;
- spam, scam, phish, run pyramid schemes, or otherwise abuse the service or its users for commercial gain outside the marketplace and business-page features;
- attempt to break, probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service, including circumventing rate limits, authentication, blocklists or moderation actions;
- use the service to develop a competing product, train AI models on other users' content without their consent, or harvest personal data;
- misrepresent the source of content, e.g. by passing AI-generated images off as photographs of real events.
We may remove content, suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules. We log moderation actions. Where required by law we will report criminal content (in particular CSAM) to the appropriate authorities.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, transcode, transmit and display that content for the sole purpose of operating and providing the service to you and to other users in line with your privacy settings. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for backup copies which roll out within 30 days, and except where we are legally required to retain copies for moderation or compliance reasons.
You confirm that you have the right to post the content you upload (including photos, videos, music and quoted text). You are responsible for the consequences if you do not.
5. YouTube integration
If you connect your YouTube channel for auto-mirroring, you authorise us to read public metadata about your uploads via the YouTube Data API and to mirror new videos to your wall. You can disconnect at any time from your /me page; doing so unsubscribes our webhook and deletes our copy of your refresh token. Use of the YouTube integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Marketplace and business pages
The marketplace lets users list items for private sale. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not handle payment, escrow, shipping or returns. You meet, transact and arrange delivery at your own risk. Listings for prohibited items (firearms, drugs, stolen property, services that violate the acceptable-use rules) will be removed and may result in account suspension.
Business pages may be subject to additional terms once paid tiers launch. Until then they are provided free of charge as a beta feature.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice, for breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or to protect the integrity of the service. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@mymoto.world.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific content will remain available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, demand or liability arising from content you post, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales unless your mandatory consumer-protection laws give you a different right.
